Συνταγή για πέστο Βασιλικού
Υλικά
Φύλλα πλατύφυλλου βασιλικού φρεσκοκομμένα
Κουκουνάρι
Τριμμένη παρμεζάνα
Χυμό λεμόνι
φρεσκο πολτό σκόρδου
Αγνό παρθένο Ελαιόλαδο
Λίγο αλάτι (προσοχή η παρμεζάνα εχει αλάτι και νοστιμίζετε με τον χυμό λεμόνι)
Στίς γλάστρες στην αυλή μας εχουμε πλατύφυλλο Βασιλικό για το δικό μας πέστο.
Κόβετε τα φύλλα χωρίς κοτσάνια (η υγρασία μαυρίζει το πέστο) ζεστένετε σε τηγανάκι το κουκουνάρι να βγάλει τα αρώματα του,χτυπάτε στο γουδί (η στο μίξερ) το κουκουνάρι,μια κουταλιά σκόρδο αλάτι λίγο χυμό λεμόνι. τριμμένη παρμεζάνα,τα φύλλα βασιλικού,προσθέτωντας με συνεχή ροή αγνό παρθένο ελαιόλαδο με πλούσια αρώματα.
Στό τέλος αρτίζετε με χυμό λεμόνι βάζετε σε γυαλινο δοχείο και καλύπτετε με ελαόλαδο.Το φυλάτε στο ψυγείο.

Διαφορα πιάτα
Για μια αχνιστή Αστακομακαρονάδα για δύο (675 γρ αστακού και τέσσερα μύδια) πράσινη σαλάτα ενα μπουκάλι Ασύρτικο και μια ποικιλία φρούτων εποχής θα πληρωσετε μόνο σαράντα ευρώ τα δύο ατομα.

just to let you know we are thinking of you, all at IVARI.and how much we appreciated your service and wonderfull food.
i hope things are allright with you all.
thoughts are with you.we have just about settled down now after our holiday in june.we have had mainly rainy weather.and i am thinking of you now it must be extremely hot in greece.dont know how you do it working so hard in the heat.i suppose you are obviously used to it.hello to phoebe.hope you are enjoying yourself playing in greece.well lee i leave my most sincere thoughts with you hoping everyone is well.take care.

A recommendation for food. Having visited Nydri many times and been disapointed with the standard of food in the restaurants....at last we have found a cracker. At the very end of the Marina (next to the Ionian restaurant) you must try Ivari. Run by an English lady and her Greek husband, the traditional food is very high quality, and only slightly more expensive than the other eateries. Do not be put off by the decor, once you have eaten there you will go back!
